MICROWAVE BREAD AND BUTTER
PICKLES
 
4 c. cucumbers, unpeeled
1 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 c. sugar
2 onions
1 tsp. mustard seed

Thinly slice cucumbers and onions. Combine all other ingredients and pour over cucumbers and onions. Cook in microwave-safe bowl for 15 minutes. Let set in microwave for 10 additional minutes, then pack in jars. These pickles are better if served chilled.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
