FIG CAKE 
1 lb. figs
1 c. flour
3 tbsp. baking powder
3 lg. eggs
1 lb. walnuts
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Chop figs and walnuts, mix well. Mix and sift flour, salt and baking powder 3 times. Sift over figs and nuts, add sugar. Mix well. Separate eggs and add egg yolks. Mix well, fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in muffin pans. Spray pans with Pam in BOTTOM only. Makes 2 to 2 1/2 dozen.
