NORWEGIAN PUDDING CAKE | |
1 c. dates, chopped 1 1/4 c. hot water 1 tsp. baking soda 3/4 c. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs, beaten 1 1/4 c. plus 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. salt 3/4 tsp. baking powder Soak dates in hot water. Mix the next seven ingredients. Add date mixture and beat with a fork. Put batter in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Gently pat the following mixture over batter: 1/2 c. nuts, chopped 1 c. Hershey chocolate minibits Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes. |
