NORWEGIAN COFFEE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat above ingredients lightly (not like beating a cake). Add to above mixture 1 cup combined mixture of nuts, raisins, cherries, etc. Just fold into batter. On cookie sheet, drop 12 spoon size of batter. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

GLAZE:

Mix confectioners' sugar and milk.
