BLOTKAKE (NORWEGIAN CAKE) 
5 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Whipped cream
Strawberries or other fruit

Beat eggs with sugar for 15 minutes until heavy. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add to egg mixture. Do not preheat oven. Bake 45 minutes at 300 degrees and don't peek, use an ungreased springform pan.

My way (learnt in Norway): 5 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup plain flour and nothing else! Whip eggs and sugar until very light and fluffy, put this mixture in a preheated oven 150°C (300°F) for one half hour to forty minutes.
