NORWEGIAN SPICE CAKE 
5 c. flour
3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cardamom
1 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. baking powder (heaping)
2 c. milk
1 c. butter
2 eggs

Mix all dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk and melted butter. Bake at 325 degrees for 3/4-1 hour (until toothpick comes out clean). Yield 2 loaf cakes.
