SCOTCH SHORTBREAD 
1/2 lb. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour

Knead with a little extra flour. Pat into 4 pie plates and bake in oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°F. Cut into wedges while hot and place in refrigerator uncovered overnight.
