AMERICAN STEW 
4 c. potatoes
2 c. carrots (chopped in 1-inch rounds)
2 c. onions (crescents)
1 c. zucchini (2x1 inch lengths)
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Basil
2 c. tomato juice
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. corn oil

Boil potatoes until half done. Cut into large cubes. Place in deep casserole. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika, basil. Cut carrots and steam; place in casserole. Sprinkle with seasonings.

Cut zucchini and place in casserole with onions; add sprinkling of seasonings. Mix last 3 ingredients and pour over entire mixture. Bake covered at 400 degrees until vegetables are tender.
