This is the Savory Teriyaki Steak I have been searching for many years. I live in Ohio and Perkins restaurant used to have a Teriyaki steak that tasted like this. It was served with sauteed mushrooms. It was me and my husband's favorite dish, but the Perkins in our town closed. I don't think it is available at other locations either. I used Red Wine Vinegar. In hindsight, the recipe may have meant rice wine vinegar. My husband isn't crazy about garlic and I don't like ginger too much. I used 1/4 tsp garlic powder and 1/8 tsp ginger. We were so happy with this recipe.
