CHINESE PORK AMERICAN STYLE 
6 center cut pork chops, 1-inch thick
3 c. soy sauce
1 c. water
Garlic powder
Approximately 1 c. sugar

Can ease up on salt by using "soy sauce lite."

Mix soy sauce, water, garlic and sugar in casserole dish. Amount of garlic is to your taste. I tend to cover the serve of the soy sauce and water mixture. I like it "garlicy". Stir mixture, as sugar will settle to bottom. Add meat. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees at least 2 hours. Meat should literally fall off bone when served. Serve with rice and broccoli.
