SKILLET PORK CHOPS | |
5 center cut loin pork chops 1 tsp. butter 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 3 cups sliced mushrooms 3 cups chopped onion 2 cloves garlic 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can Golden mushroom soup 1 cup water (or 2/3 cup evaporated milk + 1/3 cup water) 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Brown pork chops in butter and salt and pepper. Remove from skillet. Sauté mushrooms, onions and garlic in pork chops and butter juices. Drain and add soups, water, Worcestershire sauce and browned pork chops. Simmer all for one hour stirring frequently and with skillet cover on except for final 15 minutes with it off. Delicious served with mashed potatoes. |
