S & W EGG CUSTARD PIE 
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. salt
4 lg. eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked 10-inch pie shell

Mix sugar, butter and salt together until lumps disappear. Add eggs; mix well. Beat in milk and vanilla until smooth. Turn mixture into pie crust rimmed high around the edge. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, or until pie begins to set around the edge. Middle will still be jiggly. Remove and cool. Makes 1 pie.
