MEXICAN BEEF SANDWICH SPREAD 
1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 lb. dried beef, torn in pieces
1/2 lb. American cheese, grated
1/4 c. pimentos, diced and drained
1/2 c. salad dressing
1/2 c. catsup

Dice bacon and fry crisp. Drain well. Combine beef, cheese, pimentos, salad dressing, and catsup. Heat in oven at 400 degrees until cheese is melted. Blend bacon thoroughly into mixture. Makes 3 cups.

Spread on bun or toast. May be grilled as for grilled cheese sandwiches. Delicious on cheese bread if available.
