CHEESY BEEF SANDWICHES 
1 (8 oz.) container soft Philadelphia Brand cream cheese
1 tbsp. milk
1 (2 1/2 oz.) pkg. smoked sliced beef, chopped
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
Dash of salt and pepper
8 white bread slices

Combine cream cheese and milk, mixing until well blended. Add meat, onion, and seasonings; mix well. For each sandwich, spread one bread slice with 1/3 cup cream cheese mixture; top with second bread slice. 4 sandwiches.

VARIATIONS: Substitute 2 1/2 ounce smoked sliced ham, chopped, for beef and finely chopped green pepper for onion.

Omit bread. Use cream cheese mixture as spread for crackers.

This savory sandwich filling can be kept several days in the refrigerator.
