MEATBALLS & SAUERKRAUT 
2 lbs. chopped meat
1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1/4 c. water
1 egg
Salt & pepper

SAUCE:

1 lb. (11 oz.) can sauerkraut
8 oz. water
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. white raisins
1/2 to 1 c. brown sugar or to taste

Cook sauce 20 minutes. Add meatballs and simmer for 1 hour or more.
