ORANGE TORTE 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1 level tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. salt
Grated rind of 2 oranges

Bake in spring form pan 40 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees.

When cake is out 10 minutes, pour over juice of 2 oranges mixed with 1 cup sugar while cake is baking and stir occasionally so sugar dissolves. This makes a delicious moist cake. Good keeper.
