MOLDED CRANBERRY SALAD WITH
CELERY SEED DRESSING
 
1/2 c. strawberry gelatin
1 c. boiling water
1 c. cranberry sauce, strained
1/2 c. apples, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. nuts, chopped

CELERY SEED DRESSING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 grated onion
1/3 c. vinegar
1 c. salad oil

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add sauce and whip to dissolve. Cool; add remaining ingredients and chill. Serve in squares on lettuce with dressing. Mix first 4 ingredients together. Add a little vinegar and mix thoroughly. Add vinegar and oil alternately; beat well. Add 1 tablespoon celery seed. Cover and store in refrigerator. Excellent on fruit salad.
