2 cans crushed pineapple (drained well)
1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 to 2 sticks butter

In a cake pan place pineapple all over bottom. Sprinkle dry cake mix over pineapple. Cut butter in pieces and drop all over the top of the cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
