REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
1 gal. sliced cucumbers
4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 c. salt
6 lg. onions, sliced
4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed

Slice onions and cucumbers into a gallon jar (pack well). Mix remaining ingredients and pour over cucumbers. Tighten lid and refrigerate, ready to eat in five days. Keep refrigerated and will last all winter.
