REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
10 to 12 med. cucumbers
3 or 4 med. onions, sliced
1 pepper, cut in squares
2 to 3 cloves garlic
4 head dill
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. coarse salt
1 1/4 c. vinegar
2 1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. turmeric

Pour over hot. Let stand 24 hours, then ready to eat. Double batch makes 1 gallon.
