Flowerchild, these have been our family's favorite cookies for a very long time. You can add melted dark choc. instead of the cocoa. I used 1 1/2 cups sugar because my choc. was sweetened and only 1 oz. of butter because of all the fat in the chocolate. Just delicious!!

These recipe was too chocolatey... Tasted more like a dark chocolate cookie. Will reduce the cocoa to 1/4 cup or less next time. But...still yummy with a cold glass of milk!

You can use 6 tbsp of cocoa instead and a little less on the milk and they will turn out perfect!

Too much cocoa use around 4 to 6 tablespoons or you will come out with some really dark chocolate cookies. I made mine with 5 tablespoons and it turn out just right but I also used one cup of extra crunch peanut butter I love using crunchy instead.

This is too easy & how can you go wrong w/ peanut butter & chocolate? After burning a batch of cookies for the cookie exchange the next day, this was what I made @ 10:00pm. It was a hit & when you think about it, a healthy treat w/ the oatmeal & peanut butter.
