CONEY ISLAND SAUCE FOR HOT DOGS | |
1 med. onion 1 lb. ground beef 2 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 tsp. vinegar 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 c. water 1 c. tomato ketchup 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 6 to 8 prepared hot dogs Peel onion and finely chop. In a large skillet over medium heat, saute ground beef and onions until beef is browned, breaking up meat with fork to crumble. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Spoon over hot dogs. Makes enough sauce for 6 to 8 hot dogs. |
