MOM AND POP'S TURKEY DRESSING 
2 lbs. hamburger
6 eggs
2/3 c. carrots, chopped
2/3 stalks celery, chopped
About 1/2 lb. lard
1 bulb chopped garlic
1 box raisins
Grated cheese
6 slices stale bread or crumbs

Fry in lard 2 pounds hamburger - liver, heart and gizzard (chopped finely). When partially cooked add 6 eggs (beat), salt and pepper. Then add the grated cheese, chopped parsley, carrots (finely chopped), garlic (finely chopped), raisins, celery (finely chopped), and 6 slices stale bread or bread crumbs. Combine all and put in 18-20 pound turkey. This is one of rare times lard used!
