CINNAMON SAUCE APPLES 
Slice apples into a large casserole dish. Bake at 375 degrees until tender. Do not overcook. Meanwhile mix together in saucepan:

2 rounded tsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt

Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla (or more). Pour over apples. Sprinkle with lots of cinnamon.
