FRESH APPLE PIE 
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
3 c. fresh chopped delicious apples
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Combine oil and sugar; blend well. Then add the remaining ingredients. Mix and bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees then increase heat to 350 degrees and bake for 30 more minutes.

CARAMEL FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar

Combine all ingredients and melt together over low heat and add enough powdered sugar to make frosting stiff. Ice the cake before the frosting gets hard.
