CHOCOLATE CHIP KAHLUA TORTE 
1 c. walnuts
3 lg. eggs
1 c. sugar
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. Kahlua
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Kahlua frosting, recipe follows

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9 inch springform pan and set aside. Chop walnuts and set aside. In a mixer bowl, beat eggs on medium speed and slowly add the sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add the graham cracker crumbs, the baking powder, and the Kahlua. Mix very well. Add chocolate chips and walnuts and blend thoroughly. Spread into the prepared pan. Bake exactly 30 minutes. Cool on cake rack. Remove sides of springform pan and frost top with Kahlua frosting. (Cake can be frozen without the frosting, provided it is wrapped well, first in plastic wrap, then in aluminum foil.) 8 servings.

KAHLUA FROSTING:

1 c. whipping cream
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. Kahlua

Beat whipping cream, sugar and 1/4 cup Kahlua until soft peaks form.
