GERMAN CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE | |
1 box yellow cake mix 1 sm. box vanilla instant pudding 1/2 c. oil 1/2 c. water 6 oz. chocolate chips 1 German chocolate bar, grated 8 oz. sour cream 4 eggs Mix cake mix, pudding, oil, water, sour cream and eggs. Grate chocolate bar saving a little to sprinkle over top of cake. Add grated chocolate and chocolate chips to mixture and mix well by hand. Bake in a tube pan in a 350 degree oven for 55 minutes. Let cool. Also makes great cupcakes (30). FROSTING: 1 stick butter 8 oz. cream cheese 1 box powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. pecans (optional) Cream butter and cream cheese together. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and pecans. Frost cake and sprinkle grated German chocolate on top. |
