TEAL'S GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE | |
2 cans Del-Monte Seasoned Green Beans (cooked and drained well) 1 can bean sprouts (well drained) 1 can water chestnuts (chopped and drained) 1 c. onion (chopped) (1 med.) 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 c. grated New York Sharp Cheddar Cheese 1 can French fried onion rings Cook green beans and cool. Drain beans, bean sprouts and chestnuts very well. Mix bean sprouts, water chestnuts and onion together. Layer 1/2 of beans in buttered casserole. Add layer of bean sprout mixture, 1/2 can of cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 of cheese. Repeat and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Just before serving add onion rings and return to oven to heat. |
