MARINATED GREEN BEAN SALAD | |
1 (16 oz.) can French-style green beans, drained 1 (15 oz.) can English peas, drained 2 medium onions, sliced in rings 1 green bell pepper, chopped 1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimento 5 celery stalks, chopped 1 tsp. salt 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. white vinegar Mix green beans, peas, onions, green pepper, pimento and celery in a bowl. Set aside. In a second bowl, mix salt, sugar and vinegar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour over bean mixture and marinate overnight, stirring several times. |
