HOMEMADE ROLLS 
2/3 c. milk
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. warm water
2 pkgs. dry yeast
3 eggs, beaten
6 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Scald milk; stir in sugar, salt and butter. Cool lukewarm yeast and water and add. Add beaten eggs, 3 cups flour and nutmeg. Beat until smooth. Knead 10 minutes. Put in greased pan and put butter on top. Let rise 1 hour covered. Punch down. Divide 1/2. Cut 1/2 into 12; form balls 2 inches apart, lightly butter on top. Cover. Rise 1 hour. Bake 400 degrees 20 minutes.
