TOMATO SPECIAL 
2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 tsp. sugar
4 tbsp. butter
20 Saltine crackers or 4 slices dried toast
1 c. cheddar cheese (chipped or shredded)
Black pepper
Parmesan cheese
4 individual serving dishes

Combine tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and butter in saucepan. Simmer until slightly thickened approximately 25 minutes. Stir frequently to break up chunks of tomatoes. In meantime, coarsely crumble Saltines in each dish (if using toast, break in chunks do not crumble). Add cheddar cheese to each dish dividing equally. When tomatoes when finished cooking spoon equally over Saltines and cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese liberally. Top with coarsely ground pepper to taste. This is a good accompaniment to roast pork or beef and mashed potatoes.
