3 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
Dash of salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
6 oz. chocolate chips

Line oven racks with foil and preheat oven to 350 degrees while preparing. Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar and dash of salt while continuing to beat. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto foil. Turn off oven and leave in oven overnight or for at least 4 hours. (Do not open oven door.)

Makes 3 dozen.
