ANGEL DIVINITY CANDY 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. corn syrup
3/4 c. cold water
1 egg white
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. nuts

Add sugar, syrup, and water with salt and bring to a boil. Add half of mixture to egg white and beat with mixer until the other half of the mixture cooks a few minutes longer, then blend until creamy. Just "smooth" creamy, not hard. Please do not forget your vanilla, and you will be an angel with this fine candy.
