ANGEL CANDY 
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 tbsp. baking soda

Cook sugar, vinegar and dark corn syrup over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Continue cooking without stirring until 300 degrees. Remove from heat. Add soda. Mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Let candy spread itself. Cool and break into pieces and dip in melted chocolate chips (a 12 ounce bag) plus 1 tablespoon shortening and a little wax.
