KIDNEY BEAN & BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1 #2 can tomatoes
1 #2 can red kidney beans, drained
1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs

Melt fat in skillet. Add meat and stir frequently until lightly browned. Add salt and tomatoes. Arrange in a buttered casserole in alternate layers with the beans. Top with bread crumbs. Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
