HERB BAKED CHICKEN 
1 broiler fryer, approx. 3 lbs.
1/2 c. salad oil
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic, mashed
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 c. flour
1 tsp. paprika
Dash cayenne

Marinate chicken pieces in mixture of salad oil, salt, pepper, thyme, and cayenne for several hours. Remove from marinade, coat pieces with mixture of flour and paprika, dip in marinade again. Place in single layer in baking pan. Bake in hot oven, 425 degrees, for 1 hour or until tender.
