GRANDMA LIZ'S SAUCY BAKED
CHICKEN WITH HERB BISCUITS
 
1/2 env. (1.25 oz.) onion soup mix
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 c. water
2 1/4 c. Bisquick baking mix
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. dried parsley
1/8 tsp. ground sage
2 1/2-3 lb. cut up broiler fryer chicken

Mix onion soup mix (dry), soup and water in ungreased rectangular pan (13 x 9 x 2 inches). Place chicken, skin sides up, in soup mixture; spoon soup mixture over chicken. Cover and bake 1 hour.

Mix remaining ingredients until dough forms, beat vigorously (30 seconds). Drop about 12 spoonfuls onto chicken and gravy. Bake uncovered 15 minutes or until biscuits are light brown. 6 servings.
