SWEDISH COFFEE CAKE | |
1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter 1 tbsp. water Mix as for pie crust and roll out to fit cookie sheet. Bring 1 cup water and 1/2 cup butter to a boil. Take off heat and add 1/2 cup flour all at once and beat hard. Add 3 eggs and beat after each egg is added. Add 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring. Spread on top of first mixture. Bake at 350 degeres for 1 hour. Frost with powdered sugar frosting and sprinkle with chopped nuts. |
