FLAT BREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
2 c. whole wheat flour
3 c. white flour
1/2 c. butter
2-3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
Boiling water

Mix all dry ingredients together; work in shortening as for pie crust. Pour boiling water, 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 cups, over all until a soft dough is formed. Let cool. Roll out very, very thin. Bake on lefsa iron and dry in oven.

For added nutrition use 1/2 cup wheat germ.
