1 c. shortening (part butter) 1 c. bran flakes 2 c. graham flour or whole wheat 3 c. buttermilk or sour milk 1/4 c. sugar Little salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda Mix first flour as for pie crust. Then add the rest. Flour to roll. Roll thin and place on cookie sheets. Cut in squares before baking. Bake at 375 degrees until done. |
