ONE - STEP POUND CAKE 
2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. grated orange or lemon peel
1 c. butter
1 c. sour cream or yogurt (lemon, orange, or pineapple)
1 tsp. vanilla
3 lg. eggs

Put all ingredients into a bowl and beat at medium mixer speed for 3 minutes. Put in greased and floured tube or bundt pan for 60-65 minutes at 325 degrees. This cake is slow to rise.

Let cake cool in pan about 10 minutes. Best when not cut until next day after baking. Good topped with strawberries!
