CHOCOLATE CHIP OATMEAL CAKE 
1 3/4 c. boiling water
1 c. uncooked oats
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
12 oz. chocolate chips
3/4 c. nuts
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cocoa

Combine water and oats, let stand 10 minutes. Add butter and sugar; then eggs. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Add half of chocolate chips. Pour into greased and floured pan (13 x 9 inch). Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.
