RED VELVET CAKE 
2 1/2 c. self rising sifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cocoa
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. butter flavored Wesson oil
1/2 c. Wesson (regular) oil
1 tsp. vinegar
2 eggs
1 (1 oz.) bottle red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla

You must mix as recipe states.

Sift together dry ingredients. Add other ingredients in order and mix thoroughly. Bake in layer pans (grease and flour each pan). Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter (butter)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Let butter and cream cheese soften at room temperature first, then cream both well. Add confectioners' sugar, blend well then add vanilla and nuts.
