RED VELVET CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cocoa
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. vinegar
2 eggs
1 oz. red coloring
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp. butternut flavor

Sift dry ingredients together and add remaining ingredients in order. Mix and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Allow to cool before adding topping.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Let butter and cream cheese soften. Mix until creamy and spread over cake.
