SPANISH RICE 
6 strips bacon
1 lg. onion
3/4 c. raw rice
3 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 3 c. hot water
2 c. tomatoes
1/2 green pepper
1/8 tsp. thyme

Chop bacon and onion; saute. Drain grease. Put all ingredients in casserole. Mix. Bake 1 hour at 350. Also can be made in microwave in half the time.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
