BROILED CHICKEN | |
3 (1 1/2 lb.) broiler and fryer chickens 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. low-calorie Italian salad dressing 1/4 c. finely chopped onion 1 tsp. dry mustard Blend soy sauce, Italian dressing, onion and mustard. Mix well. Halve and skin chicken, brush with soy mixture. Place in bottom of broiler pan (no rack). Broil 5-7 inches from heat for 20 minutes; brush occasionally. Turn. Broil until meat is tender about 20 minutes more; brush with mixture. Can be done on grill over medium coals. Yield: 6 servings. |
