LEMON SQUARES 
2 c. flour
1 c. butter
1/2 c. XX sugar

FILLING:

2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
4 tbsp. Real Lemon or juice of 2 lemons
6 tbsp. flour

Combine ingredients for crust. Cut in butter with a fork. Pat with hands into a 15 x 10 inch or 11 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Combine filling ingredients with a spoon. Pour over baked crust. Bake 25 more minutes. Sprinkle top with confectioners' sugar and cut into squares while still warm.

Cool and remove from pan.

Makes about 36 squares.
