LEMON SQUARES 
2 cubes butter
2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/8 tsp. salt

Mix as pie crust and pack lightly in bottom of pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees (13"x9"x2" pan).

While baking:

4 eggs
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. lemon juice (fresh is best)
Grated rind of 1/2 lemon

Beat eggs; add remaining ingredients. Beat together until light and creamy. Pour over crust and bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut in squares.
