SPANISH RICE 
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
3 thick slices bacon, fried out
1 c. rice
1 can tomato sauce special
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cans chicken broth

Fry bacon out. Saute onion and green pepper in the drippings. Add rice and tomato sauce, broth and seasonings. Cook on top of stove or in preheated oven for 1 hour.
