SAUSAGE CHICKEN STEW | |
1 sm. chicken roasted or stewed 1 lb. Italian sausage, sliced fully cooked 4 carrots, sliced 2 stalks celery, sliced 1 can kidney or red beans 1 onion, chopped 4 cloves garlic, pressed Place chicken in large pot with enough water to cover. (This step is alrady done if chicken is stewed.) Add salt and pepper to taste. Heat through. When chicken is cooked through remove chicken. Let cool. Cut legs off chicken (have it for lunch another day!). Tear all chicken from bones and add it back to broth. Add other ingredients. Bring to boil, simmer for at least 30 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. |
